The EBWK Foundation as Patron of the “Note tra le Torri” Festival

Music, Culture, and European Collaboration in Motion

For many years, the EBWK Foundation has been committed to supporting projects that foster dialogue across cultures, generations, and artistic disciplines. In 2025, the Foundation is proud to support the Italian music festival “Note tra le Torri” as both organizational partner and patron.

This unique festival brings music to places where it resonates most deeply – to the historic sites of the Abruzzo region, to charming villages, ancient castle courtyards, and centuries-old towers. The result is a vibrant encounter between sound, space, and history.

A Musical Experience in Extraordinary Locations

The itinerant festival is designed as a musical journey through space and time. It invites audiences to rediscover familiar and lesser-known places through the lens of live music. Here, music becomes a bridge – between past and present, between art and everyday life, between performers and listeners.

In the summer of 2025, the festival will stop at three selected locations:

  • 4 August | 7:30 PMAcciano, Castello Medioevale di Beffi
  • 6 August | 7:30 PMTione degli Abruzzi, Piazza Centrale
  • 8 August | 9:30 PMCastel di Ieri, Piazza sotto la Torre

Program: “al cinema…in musica”

This year’s program is dedicated to the magic of cinema. Under the title “al cinema…in musica”, the renowned Trio Concertando will present music by Nino Rota, Nicola Piovani, and Fiorenzo Carpi – three iconic composers of Italian film. The arrangements by Fabio Spruzzola lend these familiar melodies new depth in an intimate chamber music setting.

Trio Concertando:

  • Zoltán Bánfalvi – Violin
  • Pierluigi Ruggiero – Cello
  • Luca Trabucchi – Guitar

Concept & Artistic Idea: Francesca Spadolini & Fabio Camilli
Artistic Direction: Pierluigi Ruggiero

Promoting Culture in a European Context

For the EBWK Foundation, this project represents the core of its cultural mission. It combines regional identity with international exchange, brings people together through music, and strengthens awareness of cultural heritage.

“Note tra le Torri” aims not only to reach today’s audiences but to inspire the cultural audiences of tomorrow. In doing so, the festival fulfills key objectives of the Foundation’s work: mediation, participation, and sustainable cultural education.

Media Partnership with Klassik Radio International

The festival is accompanied by Klassik Radio International, which will cover the project through blog features and contributions to specialized media, ensuring visibility and broader outreach.

“Note tra le Torri” is more than a concert series. It is a cultural signal.
A contribution to the European cultural landscape.
And a project that the EBWK Foundation supports with full conviction.
