Gabriele Lattuada

Gabriele Lattuada, geboren 1986 in Clusone (Italien), absolvierte 2011 sein Studium im Fach „Zeitgenössisches Schlagwerk und Jazz“ am Conservatorio G. Verdi in Mailand bei Prof. Andrea Dulbecco. 2015 schloss er seinen Master in „Künstlerischer Ausbildung für Zeitgenössisches Schlagwerk und Orchester“ bei Prof. Olaf Tzschoppe an der Hochschule für Künste Bremen ab.

Er spielte unter anderem im Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, im Orchestra da Camera del Teatro alla Scala, im Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, bei den Bremer Philharmonikern sowie im Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie. Mit dem HfK Percussion Ensemble gastierte er auf Tourneen in Deutschland, der Schweiz und Argentinien.

Als Solist veröffentlichte er 2020 Gra1n und 2024 Spiragli. Als Mitglied verschiedener Ensembles widmet er sich der Erforschung von Klang und Improvisation – unter anderem mit der Formation Tuscany Music Revolution, deren CD 2022 erschien und die von Musica Jazz als eines der Top-10-Jazzensembles 2023/24 ausgezeichnet wurde.

Gabriele Lattuada, born in 1986 in Clusone, Italy, completed his degree in Contemporary Percussion and Jazz in 2011 at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan, studying under Prof. Andrea Dulbecco. In 2015, he earned his master’s degree in Contemporary Percussion and Orchestral Performance with Prof. Olaf Tzschoppe at the University of the Arts Bremen.

He has performed with ensembles such as the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana, the Orchestra da Camera del Teatro alla Scala, the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Bremer Philharmoniker, and the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie. With the HfK Percussion Ensemble, he has toured in Germany, Switzerland, and Argentina.

As a solo artist, he released Gra1n in 2020 and Spiragli in 2024. A dedicated member of various ensembles, he explores sound and improvisation, including with Tuscany Music Revolution, whose 2022 album was named one of the Top 10 Jazz Ensembles of 2023/24 by Musica Jazz.
